Good News for All Nations

November 12, 2011

Today, I launch my maiden voyage as a blogger.  I hope you will come along with me.

The purpose of this blog is to keep you informed about the exciting things God is doing through WEI (World English Institute and Bible Correspondence School).  In this first blog, however, I will give you a little background information.

WEI is an evangelistic arm of Churches of Christ, and our goal is to teach every man, woman, and child on earth about Jesus with a view to drawing them into the kingdom of God.

God has used WEI to teach hundreds of thousands of people about Christ in 206 nations—atheists, Buddhists, Communists, Hindus, Muslims—people from every religious background.

Thousands of these WEI students have been baptized into Christ, and churches have been planted in Albania, Cambodia, China, Crete, Czech Republic, Estonia, India, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Nigeria, Romania, Slovakia, and Sierra-Leone to name a few.  These new converts have stories to tell that melt your heart.

Would you like to get involved in seeking and saving the lost?  If you have access to the Internet, you can share your faith with others through WEI.  And it won’t cost you anything but time and energy.  Let us hear from you if you would like to be a soul-winner for Jesus.

Our primary mission is summed up in the Great Commission:  “Go . . . and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:19-20).

We can fulfill the Great Commission through WEI.  Won’t you join us?  Jesus will be with us to the end of the age.

Richard (Dick) Ady, President WEI
